Hello,

I’ve just uploaded version 1.9.8.0..
Here is the changelog:

  • fixed some bugs with complex KML files
  • fixed some viewing issues with WVGA phones
  • now it is compatible with all resolution (VGA-QVGA-WQVGA-WVGA) phones
  • should have fixed the gps issues with Samsung Omnia
  • should play nicer with windows mobile 6.5
  • added ability to display map in Google Maps for Mobile if installed

Hi there!

Just uploaded some major updates to the repos!

This update include:

  • improved power management with support for unattended execution for tracking mode (it should reach a full day of  usage now).
  • new waypoint management, with full loading and saving of kml placemarks and ability to add, remove on the fly and follow a target waypoint.
  • should work on QVGA phones too.
  • it still depends on Ms gps location sample library.

This version (1.9.3) is near to something usable in real world but is still needing some debugging and improvemets :)

Some of the basic function are implemented like:

  • Work on VGA phones in WM6.1 (i’m developing with a HTC touch pro)
  • Ability to track the path and export in kml format
  • Ability to save waypoints and export in kml
  • Preliminary map support with track displaying
  • Stopwatch and Distance meter

To-Do list:

    • GPS access library (currently it is using the msdn location sample library)
    • Better power management
    • Better user interface based on Fluid project
    • Loading of waypoints
    • Installer and CAB for first version
    • Map loading with and calibration or google maps integration
    • Porting to other phones (WVGA/QVGA/non touch phones)
